The Innovative Development of Marxist Theory of Ownership through the Principle of the "Two Unswervings"

Upholding the basic economic system in which public ownership is the mainstay and economic entities under diverse forms of ownership develop together, and, on this basis, emphasizing the major principles and policies of unswervingly consolidating and developing the public sector and unswervingly encouraging, supporting, and guiding the development of the non-public sector (hereinafter referred to as the "Two Unswervings"), constitute major achievements in practical and theoretical innovation since the beginning of China's reform and opening up. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping has advanced a series of new ideas, viewpoints, and propositions concerning the "Two Unswervings." These have not only promoted the innovative development of Marxist theory of ownership and made it an important component of Xi Jinping Economic Thought, but have also provided scientific guidance for properly managing the relationship between the public and non-public sectors and promoting the common development of economic entities under different forms of ownership.
